If you'd told the younger me where life would lead, I wouldn't have believed you.
For much of my life, I felt like I didn't quite belong.
I was often told I was "too sensitive", but as I've grown older, I've come to realise that what I once saw as a weakness has become one of my greatest strengths.
My own journey through life has been far from straightforward. I've experienced illness, major surgery, cancer, difficult relationships, family struggles, financial hardship and the challenges of being a single parent.
I've had to find my way through some incredibly difficult chapters, and those experiences have shaped the person I am today.
They taught me resilience, compassion and, most importantly, that healing isn't simply about the physical body. It can be emotional, mental, spiritual and deeply personal too.
My Spiritual Journey
My connection with spirit has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
One of my earliest experiences happened when I was 12, following the death of my Great Uncle Peter. While sitting alone at my family's home, I experienced his presence in a way that has stayed with me ever since.
I was fortunate to have my nan, who never made me feel silly or dismissed what I experienced. Instead, she encouraged me to trust it.
Over the years, my connection with spirit continued to develop naturally through visions, sensing presence, familiar scents, inner knowing and other intuitive experiences.
I don't believe spirituality has to fit neatly into one box.
My own path has naturally brought together spirituality, intuition, energy work, ancient wisdom, nature and personal growth.
And, just like me, my spiritual path continues to evolve.
From My Healing To My Work
My own healing journey eventually led me to Reiki, energy healing and holistic wellbeing.
What began as something I explored for myself gradually became something I felt called to share with others.
Along the way, I trained and qualified in different areas, developing my experience while learning to trust the intuition that had always been part of me.
In 2023, I founded Rainbow Ri Holistic Health Coach alongside my employed career. For two years I balanced both worlds before taking the leap in 2025 to dedicate myself to my business full-time.
Today, I work from my healing room at The Old Vicarage in Flore, Northamptonshire, supporting people through life's twists, turns, challenges and changes.
Why I Do This Work
I think that's why I connect so deeply with the people who find their way to me.
I understand what it's like to feel different.
To feel like you're carrying too much.
To lose yourself somewhere along the way.
And to slowly find your way back.
I don't work from a place of having all the answers. I'm still learning, growing and evolving myself.
What I can offer is a space where you can be completely yourself — without judgement, without having to pretend you're okay and without needing to have everything figured out.
My qualifications and experience matter, but so does the life I've lived.
I've walked my own path through illness, heartbreak, change, healing and self-discovery.
That doesn't mean I know exactly what your journey will look like.
It means I understand that everyone's journey is different.
And I believe sometimes we don't need someone to tell us who to become.
We need someone willing to walk beside us while we find our way.
That's what I hope to offer.
With love,
Ri
